Reiki therapy is an energetic practice from Japan that creates the conditions for deep relaxation which promotes natural healing responses in mind and body. It is non-invasive and the benefits are cumulative. A certified and experienced Reiki Practitioner holds a safe space and focuses nurturing life energy using their hands. Reiki Practitioners do not massage and are not qualified to counsel, diagnose illness or prescribe medication.

I consider the spiritual and therapeutic practice of Reiki to be a life long learning experience.
My study and mentorship in Traditional Japanese Reiki started in 2011 at the Zen Centre of Vancouver where I earned Master Level Practitioner and Teacher certification. I continue to deepen my practice with the International House of Reiki in Australia. I am a Registered Teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association and the International Association of Reiki Professionals. I contribute to the CRA quarterly online newsletter.
My community teaches me every day about the compassion, creativity and resilience of the human spirit and the potential in everyone for healing, or in other words, returning to wholeness.
I bring the calm and committed approach of my daily Reiki self practice to the therapeutic sessions I provide to people of all ages and walks of life as well as animals in need.
