About Reiki

Preserving whole person vitality is the most important thing you can do for yourself and your life with others.

Reiki is a Japanese term that describes the energy that enlivens all matter.

Reiki care is an energy therapy modality that promotes vitality and supports whole person balance.

Reiki therapeutic sessions are serene and non invasive. The practitioner holds compassionate and energized space for the client to rest deeply, release stress and reconnect with healthy essence. Reiki sessions are life affirming and support the self healing process. Reiki Practitioners are not qualified to massage, counsel, diagnose or prescribe medication.

Traditional Japanese Reiki spiritual practice is a way of living for personal growth and the greater good. Anyone can be trained as a Traditional Japanese Reiki Practitioner who wants to practice more self awareness, kindness and respect towards all life.

About my practice

I meet life with curiosity. Nature's energy reserves fascinate and inspire me. Community teaches me every day about the creativity, compassion and resilience of the human spirit and the potential in everyone for self healing, or in other words, returning to wholeness.

My daily spiritual practice with Reiki is a life long learning experience. I bring the same calm, caring and committed approach to the services I provide.

From 2011-2016 I completed training in Westernized Usui Reiki Practitioner Levels I-IV with Myorei Zeraffa of the Zen Centre of Vancouver. Since 2016 I have been deepening my personal and professional practice by specializing in Traditional Japanese Usui Reiki as taught by Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki. I hold Registered Teacher membership with the Canadian Reiki Association and write for their quarterly newsletter.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in over 10 years of monthly Reiki Shares for certified Reiki Practitioners across the Lower Mainland when they were held at the Zen Centre until Myorei retired at the end of 2022. Since then it has been my pleasure to continue her tradition of supporting the Reiki Practitioner community with my own monthly Reiki Share.
